Listen! Boy & Bear

Boy and Bear formed in 2009 in Sydney Australia. The original plan was for Boy and Bear to be Dave Hosking's solo project, but later became a quintet of singers and songwriters who all originally fronted their own bands.

The band's newest album is called "Moonfire," which was just recently released in August. The new album is excellent but I'd say I'm partial to their earlier EP "With Emperor Antarctica." If a sound comparison has to be made (as I always feel the need to make band comparisons), I'd say they remind me of Fleet Foxes, yet remain unique in their own right.
