Since moving to Montreal, I`ve been lucky enough to see a ton of great live music. Just since October I`ve seen:
- Joshua Radin with Gary Jules (such a good surprise opener)
- Thus:Owls
- Regina Spektor with Little Joy
- Patrick Watson
- Ohbijou
- Dirty Projectors with Tune Yards (more about Tune Yards later)
- Fools Gold and Edward Sharpe and the Magnetic Zeros
too bad I`m extremely unorganized and forgot to bring a camera to most of these shows, but i did happen to steal some photos and videos from Candice from the Edward Sharpe show, which was unbelievable.
This is a video that Candice took from the finale of the show. They had everyone sit down on the floor, and they invited a bunch of people up on stage. It was pretty magical. Check out the boys in the red shirts...they know all the words!(check out the girls in the back...they're pretending to)
This is right before Alex, the lead singer of Edward Sharpe and the Magnetic Zeros, jumped off stage and landed on Candice. While other fans tried to get close to cop a feel, Candice screamed and felt awkward.
Then everyone was on stage 2 bands, probably about 20 people. They must have so much fun on tour.
