Resort 2013

Here's my recap of my favourite Resort '13 looks so far:

I guess you can tell that I loved Alexander Wang's collection.

 Band of Outsiders:

Carven:

Dion Lee:

I loved the simplicity and ease at Theyskens' Theory, exactly what I'm
looking for these days. Also the '90s styling made me love it even more.

The Row:

I loved the '70s vibe at Gucci. A few commonalities I've been noticing
among designers for Resort are florals, leopard print, safari and '70s influences.

ANKLE PARTY

Get Ready! I have a feeling there are going to be quite a few ankle parties going on this summer:

Rag and Bone's pushing anklets in their denim campaign, Tommy Ton shot some bold ones and Ms. Ashley Olsen has been spotted with one around each ankle at various events. The Olsen ladies offer their $4000 version for the row on Net-a-porter. This price is a little steep for me, but check back soon for details on a more affordable version.

The Row Bags

In terms of my decorating style, I've always been more of a maximalist. While minimal home interiors always appeal to me, they just don't work with my messy eclectic style. When it comes to fashion though, I've always dressed more on the minimal side...I have no problem disguising my inner hoarder when it comes to clothes and accessories. This is why i love these bags from The Row so much! The Olsen girls debuted their sleek bag collection at Barney's in New York earlier this month. I have a feeling these "anti-it" bags will ironically make their way to "it" status.

Oh Olsens

I've always been a fan of Mary Kate and Ashley Olsen, and I'm not ashamed to admit it. I don't know why exactly but I have been drawn to them ever since their Full House days, to their Passport to Paris days, to today, as they've traded in much of their on camera fame for fashion design fame.
