A tribute to Lee Alexander...

While i posted a small tribute on the day of McQueen's death, I wanted to do something more to honor his work. Each collection was so different and such a grand production, and i feel that you can't understand his full level of artistry and creative genius until seeing what went into not only the clothing, but the shows. I think my favourite is still the witches collection (see the last video).

A Sad Day for Fashion

RIP Alexander McQueen.
A true artist and innovator, Lee Alexander McQueen was a master of the craft and in my opinion (which I'm sure you all agree), the most talented fashion designer of our generation. He was a new type of couturier for a modern world, and his collections were not just about clothes, but concepts and ideas. I'm still shocked and upset from the news that he took his own life this morning. Such a tragic ending for fashion's "Enfant Terrible."
