This is great song off of Joanna Newsom's newest album "Have one on Me." Joanna Newsom is a bit of an idol for me. Not only is her sartorial elegance recognized by the fashion crowd but she's lyrical genius and a true musical virtuoso.

Some Joanna Newsom for today. She's one of my favourites at the moment. I know her voice is a bit startling but I think she is one of the most talented songwriters around these days.

At First I wasn't a fan of Joanna Newsom. I couldn't get past her eery munchkin voice, but the more i listened, the more i couldn't stop. I think she's an amazing song writer, and i now appreciate her voice for its unique and haunting sound and her quirky style. This is my first combined fashion and music post, because Joanna Newsom has an awesome sense of style. Her playful yet sophisticated hippie look, makes her one of my top style icons.
