Grimes x Hedi Slimane Diary
Just saw Grimes play in Montreal last night. I've been to about a billion concerts. But I'm almost certain that this was the absolute best. I'm pretty inspired by all things Grimes right now. Check out some articles my friend and I have been writing covering Pop! Montreal, an amazing whirwind concert festival happening right now in the city: http://canadianmusician.com/blog/

"Hats Off" The Basball Cap
Further to my past posts about my love for all things 90s, baseball caps are back in action in all forms. This practical accessory instantly brings a little edge to a feminine outfit, a la Dree Hemingway and also lets you get away with those not so great hair days. Keep bringing on the baseball caps and backpacks so I can feel like I'm in grade 5 again (this is a good thing!).

Listen! Mikhael Paskalev
Mikhael Paskalev is a Norwegian singer/songwriter who is based in Liverpool. His music reminds me of The Tallest Man on Earth with a bit more of a light-hearted vibe. When I first started blogging, I would for the most part only post about folk artists in the music section, even though I've always listened to a great mish-mash of genres. Now I've started showing more of that mix on the blog, but whenever I find a great folk singer or group I get super excited because that was the genre that really started my obsession with music, and I've always felt that folk music has been a little under-represented. So here's my newest favourite (also these videos are cute, and I can't help but laugh when i watch them because something about him channels Jack Black, no?):

Oceanside
Here in Montreal we don't have a beach to retreat to in the summer heat...here's to dreaming! I just got back from New York, but I think it's time to visit California.

Resort 2013
Here's my recap of my favourite Resort '13 looks so far:
I guess you can tell that I loved Alexander Wang's collection.
Band of Outsiders:
Carven:
Dion Lee:
I loved the simplicity and ease at Theyskens' Theory, exactly what I'm
looking for these days. Also the '90s styling made me love it even more.
The Row:
I loved the '70s vibe at Gucci. A few commonalities I've been noticing
among designers for Resort are florals, leopard print, safari and '70s influences.
Proenza Schouler
Rag & Bone
Stella McCartney:
